🇺🇸USA Military Ammunition Crate Console Table🇺🇸

What an awesome conversation piece!
This crate was designed to hold two 105 mm howitzer cartridges.
Manufactured March 1955

Original patina on the crate. It’s been cleaned & sealed with shellac to preserve the wood.

I added hair pin legs to make it a functional piece of furniture.
The top opens for storage and can be latched shut, if desired.

It would make an awesome entryway piece, buffet or behind the couch!
